Conditions Report: Thursday, January 26th 2017, 5:52 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Another sugary dusting of light snow keeping our conditions in the excellent category. Not enough to call it an inch but certainly enough to make things fresh and super shredable for Thursday. There will be miles of groomers to start the morning and several thousand acres to explore. Visibility will be the challenge to get the top open, but we should have all of our available lower mountain lifts from Cloudchaser over to Northwest ready to go first thing.

Getting an early start is a great way to enjoy Mt. Bachelor and no better way than to enjoy a hot breakfast in Cocoa’s Café starting at 7:30 a.m. and then get out there for first chair.

While roads are beginning to clear up in town, we still have winter conditions on the mountain. The roads are snow-covered and considerably icy in spots, making it challenging if you are not driving a properly equipped vehicle. Plan ahead, get an early start, and most importantly, take your time.

Come have a blast on Mt. Bachelor!
