Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
An unexpected break in the clouds ended up granting us a bluebird pow day on the mountain, wrapping up an already solid weekend right! Forecast calls for scattered snow showers to return later this evening, potentially bringing us a light refresher on the slopes by open tomorrow. This system should clear out by midday, so for the greater part of Monday you can expect calm and clear skies with comfortable temps likely to reach the high-20’s. And there will be more of where that came from as this same, beautiful weather pattern is then projected to carry on throughout most of the week. Get stoked to kick those Monday blues with the best of both worlds – soft, packed-powder corduroy on the groomers and plenty of deep powder stashes off piste. Keep in mind that tree wells are always a factor, but even more so following a storm. Please educate yourself on tree well safety and ALWAYS ski or ride with a partner in the trees. Come and get your fill of this epic powder before we switch into groomer-ripping mode for the rest of the week!
While roads are beginning to clear up in town, we still have winter conditions on the mountain. The roads are largely snow covered and considerably icy in spots, making it challenging if you are not driving a properly equipped vehicle. Plan ahead, get an early start, and most importantly, take your time.
Have fun and enjoy Mt. Bachelor!
