Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
The twist in the weather forecast for today could not have treated us any better. What we thought would be a typical storm day ended up being a beautiful day on the mountain complete with calm winds and patchy blue skies making for the perfect powder day. This storm cycle has finally run its’ course, but not before it dumped 25″ of blower pow upon us in the past three days! For Thursday and Friday, we’ll see clear skies and cold temps before another storm system comes our way by the weekend. It’s been quite an epic start to 2017 thus far… Our grooming team will be hustling overnight to provide carve-worthy packed powder on the groomers, but expect to still find fluffy, knee-deep stashes off-piste. With stable weather ahead and deep snow underfoot, we plan to be in full operation tomorrow – be sure to check back below for real time lift status updates!
Come prepared for winter conditions on the mountain as well as on the roads – plan ahead and take your time getting up here. Keep in mind that tree wells are unforgiving and becoming increasingly deeper with each storm – ski or ride with a partner! Need to turn a good buddy with no experience into a fellow powderhound? This week kicks off the start of our Ski Or Ride in 5 program for the season, a killer deal that aims to get “never-evers” hooked on surfing that powdery white stuff. Round up those rookies to enroll in a life-changing experience by January 31, 2017.
We’re looking forward to seeing you up here!
