Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
An amazing day on Friday as we welcomed our new lift, Cloudchaser to the family. Day 2 of the Grand Opening Celebration continues on Saturday with more fun and epic early season snow conditions. We look for partly cloudy skies and cold temps which should keep our snowpack in pristine shape. Champagne corduroy and the search for all new powder stashes are the plan for Saturday. Don’t miss an opportunity to ride the new lift, Cloudchaser on its debut weekend.
Saturday will be busy up here at Mt. Bachelor, relax, beat the traffic, and enjoy a hot breakfast at Cocoa’s Café in the West Village Lodge starting at 7:30 a.m. Carpoolers with 4 or more in a vehicle, get preferred parking when those spots are available. Patience and safe driving skills will go a long way to make your day an enjoyable one. Sunrise Lodge has opened for the season, making all of our base facilities and services open on Saturday.
Just a reminder that the snow is deep, especially in the new terrain. Tree wells are unforgiving and potentially fatal. It is critical that you SKI OR RIDE WITH A PARTNER!! Keep each other in sight at all times, be respectful of our signage and staff, and most importantly have fun!
Saturday is also Gravity Sports Demo Day. Come try the latest gear for carving and shredding the mountain. This is a free demo limited to the first 250 that sign up.
It’s going to be a busy weekend, get here early and be part of this historic weekend.
