Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Apparently the only way to wrap up a blizzardous week is with more snow. After a full day of gusty winds and persistent snowfall we’ve racked up 11” in the past 24 hours. Forecast is calling for this winter weather to continue into the wee hours of Monday morning, hopefully throwing us a few more inches of dry snow before it tapers off. The powder on top of powder combo is one of our favorites and definitely won’t be in short supply. Weather wise – expect low winds and moderately cold temps for the greater part of tomorrow and a break in the precipitation until Wednesday afternoon. Get away from that holiday-time hustle this week and come unwind with us on the mountain instead!
Now that more of the mountain is open, our lift tickets are at regular winter season ticket prices. But you can save a lot of cash with our 4-Pack – it allows for 4 scattered days on the mountain this winter. The $249 4-Pack is only available during a special sale that ends Monday (tomorrow!!) at noon. Buy now before time runs out!
We’re still deep into storm mode, so be prepared for deep snow conditions – on the mountain and on the roads. A vehicle properly equipped for winter driving conditions is essential, as are patience and safe driving practices. As for parking, there’s plenty of room at West Village. Skyliner lot is also available, but be sure you already have an active pass or ticket if you choose to park there. Sunrise Lodge and parking will open this Wednesday, December 14th, so please refrain from entering the Sunrise parking area until then.
Finally, mark your calendar for next weekend as we debut Cloudchaser, our newest high-speed quad lift and 635 acres of new terrain. The lift is scheduled to open following a Grand Opening Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16. Enter to win our First Chair contest on our Facebook page!
The snow conditions have been amazing and there’s no end in sight to this awesome start to winter. We look forward to seeing you soon at Mt. Bachelor!
