Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:
Everybody’s snow dancing is paying off because it started to snow again Friday afternoon. This could be the beginning of another pattern that really adds up at the snow stake. Forecast has significant winter weather over the next few days, so keep checking back to see what mother nature brings us.
Nothing better to start a powder day than breakfast at Cocoa’s Cafe from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Skyliner, Sunshine and Pine Marten are scheduled to operate Saturday from 9:00 a.m.until 4:00 p.m weather permitting.
The Snowblast Tubing park will be operating Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. conditions permitting.
While all the new snow is exciting, please keep in mind early season conditions still exist. Our grooming team is working their magic, but hazards are just below the snow surface. Stay on the groomed runs for now. Better safe than sorry.
Finally, a word about hiking. Our winter Uphill Travel Policy is in effect, meaning that you can hike the Cone, but all other areas of Mt. Bachelor are closed to uphill travel. Thanks for your cooperation and respect for everyone’s safety.
We’re stoked that our winter season is underway. Lifts are turning, the Nordic Center is open, Snowblast Tubing Park is open (Friday-Sunday) and all of our West Village base area services are open & available to you. Breakfast starts at 7:30 and the sales center & season pass desk open at 8:30. Welcome back. Join us for some early season turns.
