Conditions Report: Tuesday, November 15th 2016, 11:45 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

After a warm week, winter has returned! Snow is once again flying in the air and the ground is growing whiter by the hour. The forecast is falling for significant new snow this week. We want to open on Friday, November 25, but we still need some help for Mother Nature to make it happen. Cross your fingers, pray to Ullr, do you snow dance, whatever it takes.

The Mt. Bachelor team is at the mountain every day making the necessary preparations for our 2016-17 winter season. It’s one of the most exciting seasons ever with the addition of Cloudchaser lift, 635 acres off new terrain, 13 new runs, a new & expanded deck at West Village Lodge and other goodies. We can’t wait to get started.

Until our opening day, please remember that we’re still closed to the public. This means that restrooms, ski patrol services and facilities are not available. We’re doing a lot of mountain in our base areas and on the mountain. Snowcats, snowmobiles and other machinery will be moving about the mountain freely. Please help us out by staying away from areas where we’re working.

Think snow and see you soon!
