Conditions Report: Monday, November 14th 2016, 4:38 pm

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

There is less than a month until our tentatively scheduled opening day of November, 25! It’s time to get stoked for winter!

While we know everyone is psyched to get out and make some turns, we want everyone to be clear that you are operating at your own risk. Marked and unmarked hazards are everywhere across the mountain and snow safety conditions are not monitored. For proof, check out Central Oregon Avalanche Association’s recent post about a slide which occurred on the West Ridge.

There are no services available for public usage including ski patrol, restrooms, or facilities. We have a significant amount of work to do on hill in preparation for the winter season, which means snow cats, snowmobiles, and other machinery will be moving about the mountain freely. We appreciate your cooperation and are looking forward to a snowy 2016-2017 winter ahead!
