Conditions Report: Tuesday, October 18th 2016, 11:15 am

Good morning shredders! Here is your daily dose of Mt. Bachelor conditions:

Hello Winter! Crazy to think that just over a week ago we were riding bikes on the mountain for our final weekend in the bike park. Since then, winter has decided to make its presence felt and we have received over two feet of snow in the base area since Friday! A little higher at our mid-mountain snow stake we have 40″ stacked up already! The forecast is calling for continued snow showers through Tuesday before the temps warm up again. There is just over a month until our tentative opening day of November, 25. Get stoked for winter and check out our events calendar to join us for one of many fall parties!

While we know everyone is psyched to get out and make some turns, we want everyone to be clear that they are operating at their own risk. There are no services available for public usage including ski patrol, restrooms, or facilities. We have a significant amount of work to do on hill in preparation for the winter season, which means snow cats, snowmobiles, and other machinery will be moving about the mountain freely. We appreciate your cooperation and are looking forward to a snowy 2016-2017 winter ahead.
